I have been taking this product for 3 months now and the results have been amazing for both myself and my husband. I am a 30 year old female suffering from a neuromuscular disorder (MG), joint pain, PMDD, monthly migraines, fatigue, and insomnia. I now feel healthier than ever. It took about 1.5 weeks for us to notice the effects, but we continue to feel better and better. I was scared to tell my neurologist that I was taking this (since it has not yet been approved by the FDA), but decided to tell him at my last visit. Turns out, he has been taking this same brand too!
To be fair though, to the previous reviewer, I do think that the effects are more noticeable in someone who has been chronically ill, as I was. My husband was healthy prior to starting this, and although he has more energy now, the effects are not as great in him as they have been in me.

Since I pushed 37 a few months ago, I suddenly felt/witnessed the rapid decline of my 'youthfulness': less energy, insomnia, my supple facial skin had altered in such short notice, i was shocked. But what really got to me was my insomnia. I was reluctant to take prescription hypnotics i.e. ambien, so i took diphenhydramine (which worked for a few days but left me with such horrible hang-over), then i switched to melatonin which altered my bowel habits that i swore id rather be sleepless than be constipated. As a medical intern, I heard about resveratrol but was not what convinced me because i did not want to die so old anyway. But my "obvious" skin/eye changes had me considering to try it (botox and blepharoplasty was out of the question --maybe if i get too desperate).
i tried the regular biotivia resveratrol on january 2010-after intense readings and research of course(the first month: i suddenly noticed the disappearance of my insomnia..i can sleep and wake up at will! I felt my muscle aches went away...but i still look the same --aargh and i started experiencing hotflashes--which is a part of its side effects which suits me well because I am cold intolerant and winter had me wearing 3-4 layers of clothing. NOw just two layers)...
anyway, on the second month, i switched to transmax (i'm ordering my next bottle as i write and this is my 28th day of transmax). I don;t care if biotivia wont pay me for the unsolicited plugging but the puffiness around my eyes had disappeared! ANd yes, I got back my youthful look! And yes, if there were cameras I'd cry just like those hired scammers but this is real! I am not paid! I pay for the product :-)
in summary: what transmax does for me are:
1. restored my mental and physical energy
2. made me cold-tolerant (the h0t flashes vanished after the 3rd week but i'm not as cold now)
3. helped vanished my insomnia
4. got back my former youthful glory (my skin finer and smoother; eye puffiness/circles gone)
5. alleviated my pre-menstrual syndrome
6. My hair tresses have thickened and more shiny, my nails are stronger (noticed after the 3rd week)
7. decreased the physical capacity of my stomach (the only lowdown cos I love to eat and even if i want to binge, i can't push everything down without gagging--i originally had no weight problems but i do need to binge sometimes...now i can;t do it anymore :-( ..it's like it totally shrunken my stomach half its size so even my brain wants to indulge, my stomach cannot handle it :-(...I'm skinnier than ever :-( --so this might be good for people who want to lose weight)

I feel sorry for the gentleman who thinks he got no results from taking Transmax. It is possible to take Transmax and feel nothing for the following reasons. You must take Transmax 1.5 hours before exercise. This is because Resveratrol has a short life to release its energy properties to the cells. You must take it with some animal fat, such as fish, chicken, ham or Omega 3 capsules. It is important to feel the difference to be on an exercise program that you start or do daily on consecutive days. The reason for consecutive days is so you can measure your performance. Pick a distance and time your self for 3 days. This can be walking, Cycling, or swimming. It can be tread mill, provided that you have a way to measure the distance. Time your self for the same distance 3 days in a row. On the 4th day take 2 Omega3 fish oil caps with 2 Transmax 1.5 hours before you do the same exercise. You may not think you are going faster, but in most cases you will complete the exercise in less time to the same distance. You may feel better or you may not, but was your time better? Give this a try again for 2 more days. If you are not convinced by this time wait 5 days and try one more time and do not take any Transmax. The reason I suggested to wait 5 days is because Resveratrol has a residual effect and you can peak on the day after you stop taking it. I hope this helps some who are not sure. I am 60 yr old female back in school to retrain for the job market. Before taking TRANSMAX~500mg, I had difficulties juggling all the immunology, math, chemistry, etc classes. TRANSMAX has definitely helped me to focus and ace those classes. Also, my joints are not so stiff. But it has not helped my husband. So, I suppose that its effects may vary from person to person.

I read a review of resveratrol and a recommendation of this product in Fitness magazine, and decided to try it even though I was fairly skeptical. The review specifically discussed resveratrol's ability to improve performance during cardio exercise such as running. I had been dieting and exercising to lose weight and hit a plateau where I didn't seem to have enough energy to increase the level of difficulty in my workouts. I took this product according to the directions and noticed an immediate improvement in both strength and endurance. I was able to increase the difficulty of my workouts as well as the amount of time exercising, and that in turn has helped me lose more weight. I used to feel like I couldn't catch my breath while doing hard cardio, and that has changed completely. Now, no matter how hard I work, I don't hit that "cardio wall" where I feel exhausted and have to slow down. The benefits do seem to be continuing, because I have continued to increase both the time and level of difficulty in my workouts. I have not hit another workout or weight loss plateau since beginning to use the Transmax. I see enough of a difference that I am planning to continue using the product.
