I've been using the Enzymedica products now for about 2 years. A friend gave me a CD to listen to. It explained each of the Enzymedica products in detail. I had my gallbladder removed 10 years ago and suffered from Pancreatitis for a short while as well. Since then, I've had issues with reflux and digestion. This product has done wonders for me and I highly recommend you at least try it. I started with the 30 capsule size of the Lypo product since my problem is primarily with fat digestion. Last year however, I began taking the Digest Gold and it has done wonders for me. Basically, it makes it so I can eat whatever I want without fear of major indigestion or pancreatic flare-ups. I take 2 capsules before really fatty meals and 1 for moderate meals. If I'm having a salad, soup or something, I don't take it at all. The product also helps A LOT with constipation. If you take this product daily, you never have to worry about it. I took a few capsules with me on vacation. My 70 year old aunt wasn't feeling well. She complained of "stomach trouble". It apparently runs in my family this "stomach trouble". Well, I gave her 3 or 4 of the Digest Gold to take over a period of 2 days and now she's hooked. 20 years of stomach trouble gone! The prescription medicine she takes costs about the same but is less effective. She likes Digest Gold so much, she has asked for a bottle for Christmas. All I can say is try it. The product really works.

I have had digestive issues for years including very poor digestion, lack of appetite, low thyroid function, sluggish elimination and gall bladder/liver issues.
I have taken digestive enzymes in the past, including some that are very highly regarded with absolutely no improvement. I was reading some reviews of this product one day and thought, OK, let's give it a try. I bought the regular Digest at first as a trial and found them pretty effective.
That prompted me to buy the heavy hitter of the line, Digest Gold, which is much more expensive but worth it. I am losing weight and particularly belly fat now I'm apparently digesting my food instead of just storing it.
My research has revealed that undigested protein is believed to form tumors, and some alternative health practitioners suggest taking powerful digestive enzymes both with and between meals. It's believed that strong digestive enzymes will break up old, undigested protein.
This is a wonderful product. If you struggle with digestion, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I have had my family on these for over 3 years. Definately the most potent enzymes going. Was paying more money for a brand directly from a nutritionist. A blood analyst recommended this brand, and only the GOLD version of them. I have been on them ever since. You will notice that you do not get bloated, stomach cramps, or indigestion. Even the worst meals (ie: fried foods or dairy that would normally leave you with a stomach ache) get digested pain free. Gas is reduced in quantity and potency. A big plus. My suggestion is to try a small bottle and see the difference. Take at least one with each meal,heavy snack, or glass of milk. With a heavy meal take 2. Stick with it for a few days, you will notice that you feel a lot better! BRAVO Enzymedica! A+++!!!

I have had trouble with digesting my food for years. I have also tried almost every digestive enzyme supplement on the market. Unlike most of the others, Digest (and Digest Gold) actually WORK for me. Taking a Digest Gold with cooked meals helps me digest food better, so I'm less tired and have fewer other problems (if you know what I mean!). I have also found it to be non-addictive; I used to need 2 Digest Gold with each meal (the equivalent of 4 Digest capsules). Over the last couple of years, as I have tried to help my body heal in other ways, I am now down to 1 with most meals, and can sometimes skip my enzyme entirely.
Yes, it's expensive, but it is worth every penny of it in gained time (not spent sleeping) and quality of life.

I am disabled and chronically ill with a hard-to-cure gastrointestinal disease. I suffered with poor digestion for more than a decade before getting so frustrated with the "answers" I was getting from my doctors at the time that I began my own research and decided to try supplementing my diet with enzymes. Finally, some relief! Now, with Digest Gold I can eat with greatly reduced miseries and a pretty normal diet.
I've tried many, many brands and versions of enzyme products and I find Enzymedica's Digest Gold to be the best. I also like their Lypo Gold for my (rare) higher-fat splurges. The price, while not cheap, is as low as I've seen anywhere. Also, since I asked my new doctors to prescribe it, I am able to use my health insurance flex account to help with the cost. More much needed relief!
Sadly, finding this product in health food stores and specialty groceries has been a hit-and-miss proposition. But now, I've discovered that Amazon is selling it and I'll be buying it here from now on. I've been using this product and others by Enzymedica for more than three years and I've never been sorry.
