I was originally prescribed this medication in my consultation with a pharmacist regarding Bio identical hormones. I started this medication along with iodoral iodine and my hot flashes have subsided. I would not recommend starting the meds without talking to a pharmacist but the hot flashes have all but disappeared. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, for those ladies out there with hot flashes from hell. Give it a shot. nothing to lose.

Isocort is an excellent adrenal cortex glandular product but you need to understand how and when it should be used.
You should have your diurnal(4 points through out the day) cortisol levels measured to establish if you have a deficiency. If your cortisol level are normal or high you do not want to take this product.
You can order a salivary cortisol test from various labs with out a doctors order. When you do take the test make sure you are not on any other adrenal support, you are not sick and that you are calm and relaxed.
If your cortisol levels are low this can be an excellent product to supplement. You will feel a difference.
You don't need a doctor to do this but if your are not sure then see a Naturopath, DC or holistic medicine provider. They should be able to order the saliva test. They will give you the best guidance for dealing with adrenal fatigue. Unless your symptoms are severe, a typical endocrinologist will likely not treat you and will not endorse such an approach. Unfortunately adrenal fatigue is still not well recognized by much of western medicine.

We have a french bulldog named Petunia. She is four years old and has had severe allergies since she turned one. We heard about this product through a french bulldog meet up play group and after trying all kinds of things including steroids we gave it a try. She is like night and day! I ran out and had to wait a few days for the new bottle to cme and she went back to her old symptoms itching constantly. As soon as she went back on this Isocort she got better. we will never be without again!

I have been having a lot of fatigue which I attributed to having a 3rd child and a busy work schedule. This year I kept getting sick and a friend who is a naturopath gave me some of these. I started feeling better the very next day and now the fatigue is gone! I feel normal again. I never thought it would be so easy!
Of course you should talk to a health care professional before taking any medication, but these are amazing to me. I am glad to have them and to feel good!

Based on my research I thought that I may have adrenal fatigue. I have no energy. I'm a 27 year old male who works out regularly and has a good clean diet and has had this lifestyle for many years and still have no energy. I found over the years that working out became even a struggle and my joints started to hurt more and more. My energy levels started to decrease as time went on. I would push myself through my workouts but never really seeing the results I did when I was younger( and I'm not that old!) I felt like I could not advance in any way because my energy levels never got better. I often felt that even working out became too much of a stress on my body. Dr's could never find anything wrong with me. Hormone levels normal so nothing made sense for the way I was feeling. The only conclusion was "you must have depression" but I knew that wasn't the whole issue. Since I couldn't find a Dr. to test me for the right cortisol test which requires 3 readings a day I decided to DR myself. I came upon Isocort. I'm following the dosing schedule as said on this link. After about 2 weeks I noticed it became easier to get out of the bed. I was litteraly glued to the bed in the morning. Getting up was extremely hard for me and I felt useless. I couldn't even hold a job in the shape I was in so I can't work. Now i'm noticing I even need less sleep and I can still get up early and function better. I hope to continue to make improvements as I'm up to 8 pellets a day and plan to stay on this for awhile. This is the only supplement that has actually helped me with my issue. I seem to be handling stress a little better too. Nothing else has worked. I think results may vary and it will take time to work but hang in there. I'm looking forward to seeing how I feel after months on this. I'm gonna stick with it for awhile and plan on getting saliva cortisol testing when I get the cash. I'm hoping with the help of Isocort I will be able to work again and get my life back on track.
